James Errington was born in Liverpool in 1979, grew up in the English countryside, and started teaching English in Prague in March 2003. Since then he has worked around the Czech Republic, the UK and (since 2006) China. He has taught every age from 4 to 65, every level from absolute beginner to near fluent, and in many places, including a ski resort, a beach, a ship, a bank, and hundreds of classrooms. He has a masters' degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of London and genuinely enjoys reading linguistics textbooks in whatever scraps of spare time he can find. He works at TEFL IEA Beijing as head teacher and full-time TEFL trainer.

Leo has an M.A. In Comparative Literatures and Cultures cum laude, majored in English Language and Literature and Chinese Language and Literature (Naples University of Oriental Studies, November 2009). He also has a CEDILS Certification in Didactics of Italian language to foreigners (Ca' Foscari University of Venice, December 2007), a B.A. in Comparative Languages and Cultures cum laude, major in English Language and Literature, Chinese Language and Literature, minor in French Language. He mastered in TEFL methodology and linguistics. (Naples University of Oriental Studies “L' Orientale”, July 2006). He is a TEFL instructor at TEFL IEA Beijing.

River, an Australian Citizen, grew up in sunny Queensland, Australia. She has a Master's Degree and Bachelor in Linguistics from Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia. She holds a TESOL certificate. She is a NAATI accredited Interpreter and also a member of NAATI (The National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd in Australia). She has vast experience in teaching students of different levels from beginner to advanced in Korea and in China. She is an English training specialist and a linguist with great passion. River is a TEFL-trainer and course instructor.

Tina Jin holds a B.A. degree in English Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University and an M.A. TESOL degree from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. For the past 10 years, Tina has been teaching English in a variety of international training environments. She taught for Modern English appearing on their educational television series, as well as teaching business leaders in the classroom environment. She has done corporate education for companies, organizations and hospitals with business, communication and accountant English training. Moreover, Ms. Jin has taught in an English only environment with one of the International Schools in Beijing where she teaches all ages levels including those teachers who need to improve their English level to teach effectively in the international environment. Recently, Tina’s focus is to train Chinese national English teachers in order to help them improve not only their English skills but also their English teaching skills.

Yuki, our TEFL course director & course instructor, has an M.A. from The Central University of Finance and Economics, and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Beijing Interational Studies University. She is certified in BOEC at a senior level and has a TEFL certificate from IEA. She has been working in the English education industry for almost 4 years, and is very experienced in giving students guidance on how to put teaching methodology into practise, and how to make an outstanding demo lessons consistent with the TEFL IEA standard.
